Description

The Beloved Community Leadership Academy is the premier youth program of The Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change (The King Center). The program focuses on leadership and character development, entrepreneurship and 21st-century innovation.

Volunteers will be supporting the BCLA Opening Ceremony for a new cohort of students this year. Volunteer roles will include greeting, registration, ushering and overall program support. See below for event details.

Event Information

  • Date: Saturday, June 28th, 2025
  • Time: 9am - 3pm
  • Training: All volunteers must complete a mandatory online 30-minute training before volunteering for this event. You will receive more information once you sign up. 
  • Attire: All Black, Business Casual
  • Location: The King Center
  • Parking: Free parking is available on the National Park Services parking lot, which is across the street from The King Center. The entrance is on John Wesley Dobbs Drive. The address is 423 John Wesley Dobbs, Atlanta GA 30312.
