2026 Moral Mondays at the Capitol: Step into the Breach Campaign–Sponsored by The Georgia Poor People’s Campaign, A Home for Everyone in Dekalb, InterFaith Children’s Movement, Georgia Non-Violent Medicaid Army, and The King Center. Together, we will lift our voices against devastating federal cuts and call on Georgia lawmakers to enact a Moral Budget that protects the most vulnerable among us. The focuses of this action is Housing & Voucher Cuts on February 23rd.
Event Information:
- Date: February 23, 2026
- Shift: 10am - 12:30pm
- Event Location: Georgia State Capitol on the South Wing Stairs
- Parking: Central Presbyterian Church. The address is 201 Washington St. SW; ATL GA 30303.
- There are public parking lots and limited street parking in the area
- Volunteer needs include T-shirt distribution, handing out flyers and other program needs.
