The King Center seeks outgoing and friendly volunteers to greet visitors coming into the Book Store and Resource Center and help provide a welcoming presence.
We are looking for someone who can engage visitor groups with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, as well as provide support for our Guest Services and Book Store and Resource Center staff.
Main Responsibilities
- Greet visitors as they arrive for their visit
- Direct visitors to where they need to be/go
- Counting/ Keep Track of Visitors
- Provide information about upcoming events
- Assist with any other needs for Guest Services and The Books Store and Resource Center
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to communicate and interact with a diverse audience
- Customer Service Skills
- Ability to engage visitors and volunteers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Good communication skills
- Involves standing, light lifting and moving
- Must maintain a neat and professional appearance
- Basic computer skills
- Possible phone work, not required
