EmpowHER: Empowering Black Girls to Lead program serves an all-black female cohort (ages 13-18). The program emphasizes character and leadership development, wellness, and career readiness.
As an Usher, your role will be ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests. Your friendly demeanor will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere and assist in maintaining order throughout the event.
Main Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude as they arrive at the event.
- Help manage the flow and seating of guests, ensuring orderly entry and exit from the venue.
- Serve as a resource for guests, answering questions about the event, schedule, etc.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Warm, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to engage visitors and volunteers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Experience working with youth programs is preferred.
Attire
- All black, business casual.
