EmpowHER: Empowering Black Girls to Lead program serves an all-black female cohort (ages 13-18). The program emphasizes character and leadership development, wellness, and career readiness.
As a Floater, volunteers will assist throughout the event in various ways, from assembling SWAG Bags for attendants, aid with direction to lunch or other activities needed during the event.
Main Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
- Assist in multiple areas of the event.
- Help with crowd control and line management to ensure a smooth flow of attendees.
- Help with any takedown of event space as needed by production, staff members or other volunteers.
- Be available for other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Warm, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different roles and areas as assigned.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Experience working with youth programs is preferred.
Attire
- All black, business casual.
